This is the very first Disney Dollar called the Recreation Coupon (or Walt Disney World Dollar) it is not directly related to the Disney Dollar nor was this bill meant as a precursor to today's dollars. Issued when Walt Disney World first opened in October of 1971. It was not redeemable for cash. For use at Walt Disney World and "Not Valid in the Magic Kingdom" signed by Roy Disney. Copyrighted by Walt Disney Productions. It was released in 1971 and 1972. However, it differs from the actual Disney Dollar in that it has no cash value.
