Soldster has a partnership with the price guide website iGuide.net. There are quite a few integrations between iGuide and Soldster that make writing your Soldster item description easier by capturing information stored in iGuide and copying it to your Soldster item description in a simple way. Here is a fast way to copy the Title and Description of an iGuide Item Description into your Soldster item description. 1. Find an item in iguide, any item, perhaps a knife you recently added to iGuide. 2. Use search to find an existing IGUIDE Page, example, search for CASE XX 5172. 3. In the search results list, note the "IGUIDE Page #" (in a listview, this is the number at the bottom right corner of the row and is named IGUIDE PAGE #. In detail view, it is the number to the right of the Title of the item and is named IGUIDE #). Write it down or use COPY to copy the number to yur clipboard. 3. Go to your Soldster listing. Locate the COPY IGUIDE.NET section and enter JUST the iGuide Page Number into the IGUIDE# box. Click SAVE. 4. Notice now both the iguide TITLE and the iguide DESCRIPTION are copied into your Soldster listing. You can edit these as you see fit if you wish. 5. BEWARE: note that these default values are also copied into your listing: SalesType : AUCTION Starting Price : .01 Quantity : 1 Our Cost: 1.00 Shipping : $5.85 This can make creating a new Soldster listing much easier when a description already exists in iGuide but does not exist in your Soldster inventory.
